A fun experience. Most caves are priced, but the surrounding area is beautiful and free to hike.

The caves themselves are incredible. On top of that there are several hiking tracks around the area (you can grab all of the info at the ticket desk on the hikes there). The Jenolan river walk is easy, incredibly peaceful and opportunities to see wildlife like rock wallabies and platypus. You can continue on the the Working Waters and make your way down to a hydroelectric hut with a lovely picnic area just near the damn wall.
