Lovely rainforest trail with nice up and down. Unfortunately most rolled in today but well worth it

Great out and back walk of moderate grade in sub-tropical rainforest following Hoddles route along the escarpment and to a great lookout on Noorinan Mountain with views of the surrounding area looking back to saddleback Mountain where the walk began

The trail start isn’t signposted and took us a little while to work out which one. It’s the path that runs off to the right at the end of the road.

Great trail. So much history! Must have been tough hauling the goods up and down the trail in 1830. The trail narrows although if you persist, you do get a cracker of a panoramic view on a rock shelf. Good trail run!

Was 7km return from car park. Very steep in parts, combined running and hiking. Have to be careful in the rain. I didn’t actually find an end point to the trail. It got very dense with a number of side trails toward the end, turned around when felt potential to get lost. Really beautiful trail up to that point. Will be back to explore other potential tracks.

A great walk, take care on the gravelly downhills. Enjoy the natural peace and quiet. You might see a lyrebird.

Short trail. 6km return. However great running track as its hill central. Took about 45 mins running. The initial decent is a bit crappy ( gravel) but then turns into nice trail which is much better. only a few view points through trees. I thought there would have been a bit more of a grand finale at the top but the trail just stops at nothing, so just turned and went back. A large kangaroo jumped right out in front of me which scared the crap out of me. Highly recommended for trail running. Probably not recommended for someone with little fitness only due to the extreme steepness.

The view is good, but whats really cool is the few different habitats you walk through on this walk. Steep in sections, some loose footing and logs to step over, but mostly a fairly clear track even where it isn't a road.

That’s a great trail! As someone else said, the gravel at the start you gotta be a little careful and it’s a you know what uphill at the end!!

A great trail that crosses through beautiful rainforest. The steep gravel decline at the start can be a bit slippery, but overall a pretty moderate trail.

Fantastic view over 7 mile beach and beyond as long as you reach the end of track. Plenty to fumble around but make sure you are experienced in navigation. Could bump into a wombat or two along the track if lucky.

Overall pretty good hike, steep in and out. Fair few muddy sections and the end of the track becomes a bit overgrown. Was lucky with the weather, great views midway and at the end. Good level of fitness recommended, be wary of slippery rocks. It's a good half day hike with breaks.
