It was great ! There is a part which is closed but you can use another path which is a little bit further. A lot of stairs but the view, the river etc worth it ! We took a little bit less than 4hours :)

Little bit of fire damage to the Guvetts leap trail but still very walkable. The braeside track back along the creek is flooded and I'd recommend going back via Evan's Head unless you are ok getting wet. Stunning scenery and a really beautiful walk. Lots of stairs.

Stunning trail. But lots and lots and lots of stairs. Although all is worth it as it is so beautiful in the canyon.

What a stunning way to spend a whole day. Completed after some long awaited rain. the streams and falls were flowing. Must admit the walk out was a fair effort, underestimated and needed a breather or two...

We went on a Sunday and the whole trail was quite busy. Scenery was lovely with plenty of views before dropping into the gorge. This was a quite easy hike.

Amazing trail. Great views. Serene. The best part lies in the middle. Lots and lots of stairs. Full of shade. Must do.

This has a lot of stairs. Beautiful scenery on the way and it gives you plenty of opportunities to see into the canyon. It took us 4.5-5 hours so not too bad. We took plenty of breaks and a lunch. I’d recommend this for anyone who is just doing a normal day hike.

Beautiful walk with hidden gems along the way. Worth taking a few hours to really just relax and enjoy the magic of the waterfalls and canyon scenery.

My legs are dead. Also should be called 'stairmaster'. 'Easy' track as far as technique, 'hard' track for fitness. Worked hard. Terrible visibility due to the weather today - but the canyon is worth every second. AMAZING and tranquil and unspoilt. Also meant no people! Leeches :/ Made the mistake of attempting to use the powerline fire trail to cut back as I had left so late in the day. Come across a massive bog I was not willing to cross. Not worth it. Nice AllTrails route. Very varied. Met some locals who were doing this as part of a bigger trek.

Amazing walk! Lots of things to see. Caves, little pools and much more! There's a lot of steps but it's well worth it! If you come to the Blue Mountains, you must do this walk!

Great hike. Can be challenging coming up out of the canyon for those not used to it, but it’s worth it. Grand Canyon shows a very different side of the area once all the lookouts start to look the same.

Had to give 5 stars. An iconic walk in the upper Blue Mountains. Great views of Mt Banks, highest cliff in the Blue Mountains and great views of the Grose Valley. The Grand Canyon walk is superb with extensive periods of cool temperate rainforest. There is a fair amount of stairs, overall 640 metres of ascent and all worth it. The last part is the Braeside walk beside a sandstone bottomed creek that passes through a lush Blue Mountains hanging swamp. Can get a bit crowded in the holiday season but one of the great walks in Blackheath.

Really enjoyable walk. Little bit steap on the way in & out but so worth it. Looks like they are about to repair the stairs at the Evans Head lookout entrance. Will be great to walk down once finished.

Perfect walk during summer, even on a hot day. The thick jungle like setting ensures a cool and scenic walk! Be prepared for some step climbing at the end. Get there early to beat the crowds. 7-8am is a good time to start, or even earlier. It will take between 2.5-3.5 hours to complete. Bring plenty of water and snacks. There are plenty of places to stop and sit to soak in the surrounds.
