Well, this brought a good challenge. Walking the track in 30 degree heat, lucky for walking along the waters edge but the sand in the dune area... tiring. The national park was gorgeous and had some amaze views. Refreshing and gorgeous. The beach was beautiful but instead of walking off the beach to the sand area as guided in the original walk, stay on the beach and stay away from the sand area... in the heat, it drains you. Can you tell, I’m not a sand only fan.

HikingGreat!

Always enjoy this walk with changing bush, coastal, beach, low lying swamp and sand dune views Plenty of Photo opportunities The majority of walk is exposed to wind We did a car swap so was able to walk in one direction

Such a brilliant walk along the coast. We had a perfect sunny day. Started at Greenhills beach and walked to Cape Solander then to Kurnell town. Roughly took 2.5-3 hrs and caught bus back to Cronulla

Very bright sun and almost no shade made this walk less enjoyable than it otherwise might have been. The rock formations on the cliffs are quite interesting and fun to explore, and the views of the city and RNP from some clifftops are quite impressive.

I just went one way and it is possible to get a bus (385 I believe but check google maps) back to town. The bus isn’t very frequent though! Especially on Sunday’s and bank holidays. There’s one at 17:00. If not an Uber will cost 24 dollars back to the train station which has great links to central and Bondi Junction.
