WalkingGreat!

It's a nice walk. Unfortunately overgrown after the tunnel. Saw some bats. unfortunately didn't see any snakes or glowworms like others.

Awesome! We did the 3km to the tunnel and back. Saw 2 snakes along the way. Glad we took a torch for tunnel

Easy walk, about 3km each way with glow worms and bats in the tunnel. Not really anywhere to park. Track to start LHS opposite old bridge ruins

No real parking at the start, just have to pull off on the side of the road. To get to the start of the walk you have to walk up a small embankment opposite the broken train bridge that you can look up at from the road. It’s a nice walk but I did see a snake like others have. I’d also recommended a decent torch for the tunnel as an iPhone wasn’t good enough.

Trail is really good for about 3km. As soon as you exit the tunnel it is completely overrun. We had to turn back

Nice easy Trail. We enjoyed it. In the tunnel there is this great silence, bats and glow worms. I really recommend. No people during long weekend so it’s perfect!

Nice easy trail, only went as far as tunnel - track very overgrown after tunnel. Keep an eye out for snakes as we encountered 2 laying on the track. Good walk to take the dog as well

WalkingGreat!

great little walk following the old train tracks. The train tunnel was full of little bats, glow worms and a big mountain possum living in the middle. take a torch for the tunnel. some parts of the trail were starting to get overgrown, but still manageable.

All Trails route is wrong. This is a 6km out and back track that ends at the tunnel. Access is from Tunnel Road and Bloodwoods Road intersection. Highly recommend this walk!!

Could only make it the first 2km before the track was completely overgrown. Would be an amazing track if cleared. Save yourself the time and find somewhere else. Hope they do clear this eventually!

Started at the corner of Tunnel rd and The Bloodwoods rd. Path was recently maintained and easy to walk.

For those who are claiming it’s over grown, you’re going down the wrong starting point. The track begins up a grassy hill and straight onto the train track itself. It’s not overgrown. Overall was awesome, really enjoyed it, and so did my pup

Undoable. Overgrown grass prevents hiking more than 200 mts

We took a retreat group here and as much as I loved it, there are warnings on other sites that this hike is now closed and trespassers will be prosecuted. We couldn’t make the whole 16km either as after the tunnel the track is overgrown.

Great walk, definitely look out for snakes when it gets hot. Tunnel is cool but you'll need a torch. The trail head is overgrown so I uploaded some photos to help any would be hikers.

An easy walk to the tunnel. Bring a headlamp to explore it, and watch for the glow worms!
