Most of the lonnng trail is a gated fire trail (dirt road), so if you have a mountain bike, bring it to speed up the journey! Near the falls, don't go in the way we went in (bushwacking), but rather follow the way we exited. Beautiful falls! Hope to explore the bottom of falls next time. I can't figure out how to add my recording but maybe you can see it in my bio.

Epic trail with an epic view. Highly recommended for a moderate run with fantastic scenery.

Good walk, some parts overgrown and track unclear. Not much water on falls but still beautiful, some of the party traversed down to natural pool below but I wasn’t that brave, maybe next time. Plenty of snakes and ticks so use gaiters and deet.

Gerringong Falls is an amazing view from the top of the falls. Follow the fire trail to the creek and then follow it down stream to the large water holes. Access to bikes to traverse the fire trail would shorten the flatter components. Note: the trek down to the base should be undertaken by experience hikers that are capable of climbing and scrambling and understand a bit of bush bashing mindful of snakes. The time at the base of the falls is surreal and worth it but the hike back up is not for the faint hearted. . The pool is deep and swimmable.

A long walk but the falls are beautiful after some rain especially. I did take the track that goes off to the right as I headed towards the hersey trail..its thick and overgrown but will get you to the falls eventually. Take the hersey trail instead. The walk to the end of Buderoo trail is just that and nothing else.
