WalkingGreat!

Took my 6 yr old grandson for this walk. He loved crossing the creek, the vines and the tree over the creek. The track was pretty good considering the rain over the last week.Great walk for families.

Great for young kids, is a little muddy in winter but long enough that you should get a good sleep in from them once you’re done.

Walking

Tall trees and an easy, flat path for kids and all levels of fitness. Save for the initial creek crossing, you could probably take a pram/stroller around the arboretum loop in good weather. Plenty of dogs on leads too. A fun wobble bridge for the kids and a ‘dirty dancing’ log for the mums and dads ;) I preferred the bellbird loop more. It was much narrower and had more ups and downs but was less busy and still very pretty. Might be a bit too far for the little ones...

Beautiful rainforest hike along creeks and gullies. After rain the trail becomes quite muddy, and we had to cross the creek on slippery rocks further up from where the trail meets the other side of the creek. Leeches were found near the creek, and we spotted many mushrooms. There were a few logs that had fallen over the creek so we could walk across for fun. Lovely greenery and the sound of running water as you hike

Beautiful trail, we had it all to ourselves. You hear the birds singing, the surrounding trees and flowers are great, plenty of flowing water. Came across a really cool bridge and a big fallen tree that lets u walk across the river. Very cool trail
