This trail has some great views for a small effort. It seems to be the only place to see open plains. It got crowded with non hikers, so early start might be wise. I modified the hike a bit to go over the summit at the Eagles end. The wind, the wind, snd more wind. Be prepared. There would be fabulous views of the major peaks when the clouds clear.

Quite a nice and easy hike, no more than 2 hours at a relaxed pace. Views at both points are great.

Cool view of El Chalten from Condor Point and of the plains/expanse from Eagle Point. It can be extremely windy in the afternoons. The condors don't show up on windy days.

Straight forward hike up to two lookout points. Not really difficult at all. The only challenge is getting cooperative weather as the first vista was obstructed. Luckily the second lookout point was clear and we had nice views of the lake and surrounding area. 12/24/19.

Nice short hike right from the edge of town with excellent views of Fitz Roy and over the town of El Chalten. Great suns rise hike or trail run, or warm up for a bigger hike here.

As other users have said, great “warm up” trail that can be done the same day you arrive in town. It offers fantastic views of El Chalten, the valley, and we saw a few condors. We (30’s, fit) finished both trails in 1 hour 30 minutes while taking time for pictures. When finished, make sure to stop in the visitor center to get a weather update from the rangers and more detail on other trails you are considering.

Great warmup trail for the others in the city of el Chalten. Phenomenal distant view of Fitzroy and cerro Torre as the clouds roll in

Short trek, GREAT views of Fitz Roy range when clear. Best views per linear foot hiked, for sure! Just do it.

Amazing 360-degree views! Is one of the easiest hikes, only steep in short areas. Plan on 2 hours in & out to enjoy both Mirafores & their magnificent views. It will be windy at the top, even in a warm day, so bring layers.

Easy warmup hike with a bit of uphill. The view from Mirador De Las Aguilas is stunning. If you go a bit higher you’ll get a nice 360 view. Worth the extra time and effort.
