Beautiful hike in the Bariloche area. You can take a taxi from the center of the city but there are options to get there by bus. Trailhead is easy to locate. The first 5 miles are pretty laid back, with very gradual elevation gain. Most of that part is along the Goye river. The last 1.5 miles of ascent to Laguna Negra are pretty steep but very doable. The view of the lake and the surrounding mountains is amazing and worth the effort. Coming down is a challenge as well but once you clear the steep slope it is an easy stroll back to the starting point. If you finish early enough you can grab some good beer at Cerveceria Berlina, a short stroll from the trailhead in Colonia Suiza.
