The trail starts off with a very technical ascent on single-track/double-track. It then turns into some old mountainous-dirt roads which are washed out at points, there are a few creek crossings but most people should be able to avoid getting their feet wet. The trail will disappear in some places and then reappear a few hundred meters further up. You will pass by a small mountainous village only accessible by the trail on which you arrived and then further up, you will come upon an old ruined village. There's only a handful of buildings that are left, but some of the buildings still have a roof. This trail has steep climbs the closer you get to the summit and offers views of the surrounding mountain range that simply cannot be seen from Kukës or any of the surrounding villages. Since this trail passes through mountainous villages and open fields, be careful with guard dogs/sheepdogs. Most of them will be calm, but some can be aggressive if provoked.
