Great walk, with lovely views back to the bay and lighthouse. Jungle section is pretty special, with lots of monkeys and squirrels above. Our 7 yo managed it okay.

great trail. just after the trail crosses the 550m contour the trail is hard to find, might have been easier to follow the 2 sides of a triangle off to the right.

A raised wooden walkway that is a gentle 40minute walk around this beautiful Mangrove forest.

Superb hike of 4-5h, I feasted. Starting from the south, there is now a new road that makes a turn to the left. It must be taken and notice that at the beginning of the hike on the map, there are footprints that go up, you have to climb the wall (steep) of land. The beginning of the trek looks more like a forest than a jungle and the climb is quite hard. But when bamboos start to appear the charm appears too. The waterfall will delight you. The best spot for me is after, towards the point Y on the map, on the left there is wide carpet of rock and a sloping waterfall. I bathed there, and then dried lying on the rocks, it was incredible. I had a machete which allowed me to clear some places, otherwise I should have made small detours but nothing insurmountable it seems to me. The hike deserves its difficult I think.

lots of fun. a bit overgrown in parts but the waterfall is very worth it. nice relaxing hike and not too strenuous.

I wouldn’t call this easy! The path is straightforward, basically 1260 steps to the top, but you’re ascending 300m on a path that’s 600m long. It was heavy for me, combining the heath with the humidity. Bring enough water, you can fill your bottle at the top! Highly recommended though, the view from the top is amazing...

This trail had some steep areas but there were ropes tied along the trees to help with the elevation. We also took this trail back down so be careful of sliding gravel. It was super hot so bring water. We did this trail in May

what a beautiful view. go early to do it in peace. we were sweating but it was awesome. we wore sneakers and made sure to have appropriate clothes for the top

Spectacular scenic view from the highest peak in Thailand down a wild valley from the back of each of the temples (one for the King and one for the Queen of Thailand) The temples are both exquisite and the gardens reminiscent of something from a fairytale - pictures do not do this place justice!

Remote waterfalls with what seemed to be limited tourist activity. Went to both waterfalls and beyond and only saw a 4 other people the whole time. Note: we came during the low season and were not part of a tour bus.

good trail

This hike requires you to walk up 1260 very steep steps. While I wouldn’t say it is technically challenging, nor will it take very long to complete, I would not consider this “Easy”, especially if you are not from a hot humid climate. The view was amazing and the temple was beautiful. We got up around 4:00 and stayed until 6:30 for the sunset. If you stay any later it will be dark when you head down (July). Would recommend!

A bit stiff but very nice. Immerse yourself in the jungle before heading to the beautiful beach for a well deserved swim.

It was a nice experience but it was also a really hard way up. Remember to bring enough water and good shoes.

I’m shocked this says easy. To get to the top is over 1,000 steps. Was exhausting and some of the steps are super narrow! Gorgeous view though. Absolutely worth it and amazing for sunset (be careful descending in the dark)

I caught a Songthaew to the university campus and followed the trail from there. Easy steady first part to the trail, amazing temple waypoint just before the half way point. The trail gets a lot more difficult after that point. Mostly uphill with some steep sections so you must be physically able to tackle these. Despite this I enjoyed the trail very much, I caught a Songthaew back to town from Doi Suthep rather then attempt the steep sections back down the trail. An easy trail to follow, only one point near the top where the trail was less clear.

A nice hike through some jungle. it's just 1 big hill but not too challenging. quite overgrown so there's only a few spots where you get a view of Chiang Mai but a nice walk never the less

Just a nice n easy walk with some city views and small stream plus temple at the end. They unfortunately seem to keep adding (rather kitschy) buildings to the original, more sober and natural temple structures which is really a bit of a shame but doesn't affect the hike, which remains worth it.

Nice short trail, not that easy. Beautiful beach
