Very nice hike. The bisse is very well laid out, it is impressive the work done to build the bisse. The return at the bottom is a little less friendly than the gone, at the level of the roads, they are motorable roads. But we must recognize that there are magnificent views and the rise of the torrent is good.

We decided spontaneously for this path and were very enthusiastic. Grade for beginners or "Gehfaule" this route is great. There were many great spots to take pictures, enjoy the view and take a break. Since we had dogs with us, we took a shortcut and bypassed the goats at the higher part of the way. In autumn this route is highly recommended. Golden autumn!

Nice walk around the village of Brei. Beautiful points of view. Possibility of extending this walk easily by the many trails around.

Not convinced by this ride. There are just goats that are special, it looks like they are cut in half, the back is white and the front is black. There were also weird sheep.

I was very disappointed with this ride. Tarmac and straight path. The river is on one side wedged between a wall and an area of small buildings not very pretty, on the other between two barriers! There is to save this ride, beautiful trees and one or two views of the mountains.

This was definitely a beautiful scenic hike with view of the Matterhorn the entire time! We took the train from Zermatt to Gornergrat to get started then hiked all the way back down to Zermatt. October 27th, 2019 was a beautiful sunny day in the low 50’s but we never felt cold while hiking. There was plenty of snow to see on the ground at Gornergrat. The trails were very muddy and slippery at times so I would definitely recommend bringing water resistant hiking boots. We started a little after noon and still had plenty of time to get down to the bottom, stopping to take plenty for pictures along the way. This took us about 4 and half hours. There are also a lot of bike trails and it is dog friendly. I loved this place!

Excellent trail. The lake is superb.

Great trail. The views are incredible and it’s well kept. Walking across the dam is an adventure of itself :) At places not very wide - and quite crowded on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, the path is quite rocky most of the way. We didn’t see any “rest areas” along the way, so recommend a little pit stop at the restaurant before going on the trail.

Late October 2019. Trail is completely buried in snow.

nice easy walk around a very picturesque town, have the option to extend the walk and go up into the hills - this was really nice too.

I could not finish because of the snow

Quite steep and in the upper parts pretty exposed without not that much to hang on. Pretty loose / dry by fall. If you have a vertigo in exposed parts like me, you will make it up to photo spot that is on map (circa 2200m). Its cool spot with a lot of view. Going more up to reach very top needs being very comfortable on exposed trail. Top reachable in 2-3 hours.

I find that it is more categorized in difficult. otherwise beautiful landscapes

Stunning views all the way up! We did the five lakes hike on the way down.

Super nice walk. We took the cable car all the way to the top and went to the Glacier Palace before the walk.

Hard hike but what a reward with the view at the top. Must do on a clear sunny day.

Can't get a better view of Matterhorn than from this trail. However we were hiking in sneakers and I slipped off the rock and fell (my bad). If you are hiking down to Schwarzee, watch out for slippery and sharp rocks, the descend can be a bit dangerous without hiking boots.

Four miles up, about 3300 ft. Windy and chilly once out of the trees. Steve Bloomberg not feeling well so multiple stops. More than necessary. Lots of down hill. Great rock crossings. Steve Warner had a shoe blow out. I’d do it again.

Great hike- for the most part, clear where to follow the path, but be careful with the signage if you venture off the clear gravel path onto the smaller trails. You can end up walking for a lot longer than 3 hours. Also- there is opportunity to walk from Sunnega down to Zermatt - takes about an extra 1.5-2 hr depending on the route

I would recommend the hike to the hut. No crowds, outstanding views in all directions
