Nice circuit that I did with my dog. One big downside, the noise of the road that gets along even at the top.

Magnificent ! We feasted. We took 4:20, including breaks, walking with a good pace. We are hikers in a new way. I advise doing it in the opposite direction of clockwise. The hike begins on a wide forest path a little steep but very passable. Then we go on a forest path, always quite steep. it is the most complicated part because the pebbles and the roots slip a lot. you have to look where you put your feet. If you are with children be vigilant on this stretch. When you arrive at the top, it's a pure gift that is worth every effort. The Circus du Creux du Van tour is splendid and almost flat. the path is good but beware of the precipice, especially when there is wind. A burst can be dangerous for a light child. But you can get away from the edge and stay on the other side of a pretty stone wall. The descent is a little slippery at first but shorter than the climb. Then the path quickly becomes very good. I really recommend going on a nice day to enjoy the view! And if you can, a day when there will not be too many people. For us it was a pedestrian highway ^^. Happy hike!

I definitely recommend this trail for incredible views at the top. I would rate it as difficult due to the elevation gain. Although it is gradual for the most part, there are some steeper rocky areas that will pose a challenge for some (whether going up or down). I didn’t see too many kids along the trail; I think that maybe a 10 year old could complete it if they are used to hiking and have experience with long, continuous climbs. I decided to take a right at the fork and go around the trail that way. The steepest parts of the trail (and also the most rocky) were absolutely on the way back, particularly right after the views. If you’d rather have the steeper climb than have to go down it, hang the left at the fork and go around that way. Many people had hiking sticks to help. Again, unbelievable views at the top. Every time I thought I saw the best one, I’d walk another fifty yards and there would be another photo opportunity.

Beautiful walk! Definitely worth doing. Took 3 hours but I stopped to take many photos and we didn't walk fast. (GPS went a bit skewiff a couple of times.) (Caught train from Bôle instead of Boudry back to Noiraigue, as only a short walk away and direct train line. Bôle is a cute town.)

This is a great hike for all ages, honestly. I saw kids, adults, and older people hiking this. I would consider this a moderate hike. The roads are not paved and are rocky but nothing dangerous!

Beautiful.... busy at the top as there is a restaurant with road access. The Grand Canyon of Switzerland maybe....

One of the most beautiful scenery of the area. Very busy on its first part. Better go early morning and around September or May June. Lots of animals visible. It is a fragile area. Stay on tracks and leave no trace :-)
