Great trail, loops over the mountain with great views. Partially covered and East to follow.

Keep walking up from the Männlichen station (endpoint of this trail on the app), great point of view

Beautiful hike. Starts off with a 45-1 hour accent to the lake on a rocky trail. The lake is wonderful - and cold - so wait for a dip on the return. From there you head up again a steep but shaded trail and I recommend doing both summits it is only a 15 min detour. Amazing views all around. Birds and mountain goats and a good time. Took a lap around the lake on the way down. Worth it if you have the energy.

Nice trail that is easy to follow. We hiked in the opposite direction, but either way, you climb to the top and descend back down in a loop. The trail is a little shorter than we normally prefer, but lovely views from the top. Lac de Joncs itself was a bit underwhelming, more of a pond.

Short, fun hike from Carona; treat yourself to (pricy) food and drink at the top, and enjoy the magnificent view from the top of the old church!

It was plenty of different areas park, so I did and found the trail in a nice forest, but it seemed like it was a logging area that you were walking through and much of the area was decimated and logged out, I did the shorter of the two loops but it was nice.

I parked at Gstaad Palace And the trail started on a main road and then banks left to go up through a small town. First part of the hike on this road was about a mile until you started up the mountain and into the forest. It was fairly steep most of the way up and I came across a Teepee on the left-hand side that appeared to be lived in by somebody. There were a couple of really nice view points along the way and one of them had a map of all the mountains at the viewpoint that you could look at. I made it to the point where you bank left and start the loop but I only got a half mile around because there was too much snow so I turned around there and hiked back down. I forgot to start my record button at the beginning of the hike but did about 4 1/2 miles total because I was unable to complete the loop.

This hike makes you really feel like you're in Switzerland, from the stunning views to the constant background ringing off cowbells. I took the cog car to the top of the mountain first (Rigi Kulm) to take in the views, then started the panorama trail from there. I did one-way to Rigi Scheidegg, and took the cable car back down the mountain. Make sure to time your hike so that you get to Scheidegg before the last cable car leaves!

Great trail to get down the mountain from the allmendhubel playground. The route takes you past the kids adventure playground in the woods about halfway. The last half mile into the city is a very steep rocky road.

Excellent trail. Le lac est superbe.

Vollständige Wegbeschreibung

A pretty and easy, albeit crowded hike. The views of the mountains are stunning, as is the lush greenery interspersed with flowers of varied colors. We were lucky to have done this when there was a build-up of snow on the mountains, which made this an unforgettable experience.

We took the cable car from Wengen to M, for 11 Swiss francs, then started our easy hike around to Kleine Scheidegg. Affter a lunch break at Kleine Scheidegg, we took the steep walk down to Gridenwald. This part if the walk was very long and not super interesting.

We hiked this on a very cloudy day. The clouds occasionally rolled out and the views were beautiful when they did! Pretty flat, do does make it a little dense with people. Would be a great hike for families with kids. We also did a little bit of out and back hiking on some other trails (Eigergletscher) before hiking to Mannlichen. How we traveled there: We took a train Interlaken -> Grindelwald, had coffee in Grindelwald then took the train Grindelwald to Kleine Scheidigg. There are two train stops if you want to make your hike longer, we decided to not get off early as the fog was so bad in the morning. We hiked to Mannlichen and took the cable car down to Wengen. Trained Wengen to Laterbrunnen (stopped and hiked over to a beautiful waterfall) then trained back to Interlaken.
