This route is part of a multi week long hike or ride, along the Geneva Camino, (Geneva Way) also known as via Gebennensis or Jacobweg in German. The banks of the "Nant-d'Avril" is a very easy walk which can be done with the family. It starts at "Peney-Dessous" next to the bird sanctuary on the banks of the "Rhône" and not far from an excellent restaurant. Start by walking along the main road for a very short time and then go to the edge of the Nant itself. The ride continues up the stream under the trees, it winds between small waterfalls and quieter places to then lead to the edge of the forest por then brings you to the beginning of the canal which channels the "Nant-d ' April "from" Meyrin ". Go up this channel for a short distance to admire the works of art left by graphic designers. What is interesting is that these works are quite ephemeral because after a while they are covered with new ones. I turned around because the rest is not too interesting, it is tarred and along a very busy road. Continue to "Meyrin" if desired.Show more
