Great trail, quite significant steepness, and need the ability to scramble at points and climb ladders. Rewarded by beautiful rock features, and views of The Valley and river.

Walking

Incredible views the entire walk overlooking the valley own below and up at the eiger. We did the walk late in the afternoon and only saw one other group of walkers.

HikingGreat!

Hiking

The hike begins and ends at the Schilthornbahn station in Mürren, which we reached by gondel from Lauterbrunnen to Grütschalp followed by the train to Mürren (costs 22.40 SF pp). After a few metres on the asphalt road, the natural path to Spilboden begins. It's an easy track with nice mountain views. Step by step direction: Allmendhubel – Blumental – Schiltalp – Spielbodenalp – Mürren

Backpacking

We were on the ViaAlpina trek from Meiringen to Kandersteg and started early from the camping Gletscherdorf. After a few kilometers of flat in the valley, you will start a steep climb for about an hour, and then find more reasonable gradients towards Kleine Scheidegg station. If you started your hike around 8am, you will be at the station for lunch! Tables are available at the top for hikers to use freely. Then you will start the downhill path towards Wengen. From the station, I strongly suggest not take the path that follows the railway (the one indicated on this recording). Instead, you should use the much nicer mountain trail which is north of the railway. It goes up for a few meters towards the north of the station and then goes down and joins the main track further down. Once in Wengen, you're not there yet! A long and steep downhill track awaits you to reach Lautrebrunnen probably somewhere around 4pm. We slept at the Schützenbach Backpackers & Camping. We were charged 40CHF for two people with two tents. Make sure you have a few coins for the hot shower, and enjoy your rest!

Hiking

One of my favorite trails here in Switzerland. Many friendly cows around, lot of alp flowers like Enzian and Alpenrosen. The lakes a super refreshment and nice and cold to swim. The trail is pretty steep and but totally beautiful.

Great trail, lots of diverse views. Just follow the signs. A bit too mich gravel in the beginning. Overall, it only took 3h10‘ for us

Sentier du Talent actually begins in Echallens near the LEB station, so that's a possible starting point. The forest trail is easy and pleasant but not spectacular. It follows the river most of the way, so it's hard to get lost. The farms and fields surrounding the trail are spectacular - I'd suggest extending the hike to the abbey in Montheron, then through the fields to the south-west, or even avoiding the forest entirely and going via the field roads.

Incredible hike, beautiful landscapes, featuring the new bridge to cross on the other side in the middle of the mountains, not recommended for people who fear heights though but other than that it’s perfect!

Very beautiful trail, pretty easy to do as no large elevations are there to take. Waterfalls were amazing to see. And best of all, not busy with a lot of people.

Hiking
