This wonderful ridge trail overlooking Lake Lucerne can be either Easy or Moderate, depending on whether you avail yourself of the myriad alternatives to the main route. That route is packed dirt and approved for wheelchairs and strollers, but several of the alternates are steep and offer dramatic cliff views of the lake and towns below. We did a 9.2-mile loop that totaled 1500' elevation. It can be easier or anything in-between. Save this one for a clear day since as the name implies it's all about the views.

Truly impressive force of nature. The “hike” is mostly steps but you stop often to look and photograph these falls. It’s cold inside the cave and you’ll likely get a bit wet at the lookouts.

Should be rated as easy. This is a barrier-free trail, which means strollers and wheelchairs can do it. Not sure how it got a “moderate” rating.

An elevator you can catch up making it wheelchair accessible, really cool to explore through the inside caverns following the water. Quite cold inside so I recommend a windbreaker even in summer for inside the caves. I started walking along the flat trail that follows the river from Lauterbrunnen and followed signs to the falls. A lovely walk and great way to experience Switzerland!

I wouldn’t call this a hike. It’s a definite tourist attraction. 11 CHF to enter. But the volume of water that comes down the falls in such a small area is impressive.

Great trail, mostly along a gravel road so it’s in good shape and perfect for all hikers. Pretty minor and steady incline, very clearly labelled

Trummelbach is a fantastic touring attraction. Wasn't a distinct hike but there is alot of walking and stair climbing involved. Spectacular sight to see and certainly worth visiting.

I enjoyed this trail with my parents and grand daughter recently. The trail is easy enough for small children to walk while being able to feel that they are exploring a deep forest. The lake is small, crystal clear and beautiful. The water is so clear that you can see the fish!
