Finnskogsleden can be split into several smaller sections. The starting point for the whole trail is Annefors, about 25 km southwest of Bollnäs.
Along the trail there is a strong connection to Finnskogen with old Finnish settlements, shacks and memories of ancient forestry. Here is the opportunity for recreation and leisure activities. For those who want to stay overnight, there is a Fire hut in lumberjack environment with room for 12-14 people. In addition, there are four huts and nine shelters with fireplaces where you can stay overnight or eat your picnic.
