very many different trails in this area. A lot of places with benches and tables. No open toilets during off season. Sufficient parking.

Very nice trail! Many other trekkers - most probably due to the fact that it was the last weekend before closing for this season. The trail is flat - but walking in the sand makes it a bit challenging. It was windy (it often is) so dress warm and don't forget hat and mittens. If you are lucky (we were) you will be able to see a seal colony at close range (but don't come too close!) And please keep in mind - Måkläppen is a nature reserve, so whatever you bring with you - you need to take back with you (there are no trash bins).

Great loop trail around the entire Snogeholms Recreation Area. Snogelholm is the castle on the lake that you pass. The trail is mostly on hiking trails with an occasional forest road. There are a couple of towers that you can climb for a view and the trail passes both of the two largest lakes. There was a heard of wild boar and deer in the more secluded areas of the trail. The trail is very well posted with yellow markings and is about 16 Km long.

This is an easily accessible day hike. Mildly strenuous in the uphill portions. The Kivik's Musteri is an excellent midpoint break with a restaurant/cafe and all things apple related. The views from the heads are spectacular on clear days.
