I followed the trial as the person did before and it was superb loop around this amazing setting.. you start in the highest village in Spain and with a steady climb for a hour you start to drop into some amazing off road sections.. Make sure you lower pressure in your front tyre as you can easily lose the front end in the dust.. perfect trail that will take a few hours Take plenty of water .. I ended up drinking 2 litres ! You can see my sections on strava .. name glenpointon 10/10

Great afternoon hike with beautiful view. Quite though due to some steep sections, but because it is well maintained it is do-able with average fitness.

Awesome hike to do. The elevation is spread out well over the distance. It also is a great hike to see wild flowers. We don't have cactus where I live, but I have never seen so many flowering cacti before. Really enjoyed this hike, and trail running the downhill side of the trail. Due to time and who I went with, I only ended up doing 1 of the 2 summits on this trail. Very easy to jump off the posted trail to head back to the car, requiring little additional uphill after hitting the Roque Imoque summit.

We paid to take the cable car up the mountain and had arranged for the free summit permit ahead of time to complete the summit portion of the hike. It is a bit steep at times, and the air definitely feels thinner at this elevation compared to staying near sea level. Great hike that can easily be done in under 1.5 hours. Great views from the top! Because you are required to get a permit to climb to the summit, it doesn't get very busy.

Extraordinary hike, allows to discover fantastic landscapes that link both the mountain and the sea. Do not neglect the sunscreen and plan a maximum of water to avoid dehydration because the temperatures are hot! Rocky and wooded trails, good hiking shoes are essential The trails are quite difficult on the first part of the hike, between Taganana and Afur. However, in Afur, you can stop at Casa José Canon to cool off. The following trails are quieter, the Afur trail to Tamadiste beach is all downhill, and the one between the beach and Taganana is uphill but easier than the first part of the hike.

Hard! The last bit we had to stop every 30 seconds to catch our breath. Round trip took under 8 for us

Very nice hike in fir forest.

A clearly marked trail with beautiful views! even saw some mountain goats!!

Very good for family with children from 10 to 18. Wind and océan views from start to end. The lava fall in the ocean...

Easy walk - no idea why this is rated as “hard”. 8,50€ entry fee, and still very crowded. Recommended to make a reservation to avoid wait

An awesome track!

Easy start through some wild scenery, watching the clouds roll over the mountains from above. The hike then becomes a lot harder as you make the ascent to the top. Be wary of bus times though as it is very easy to miss the last bus home and be forced to take the cable car down to try to catch it

Closed! Such a bummer.

Easy trail. Since trail is not free (~8 eur), they provide helmets (for falling rocks, didn't happend during my trip). you can rent hiking boots and sticks. I saw children and old people in the trail. I recommend it for people not used to hiking.

Porto to Tamaimo part is not so beautiful. Otherwise would give 5 stars.

Woodland walk. Few points for views but at altitude you really have to time it when you’re not in clouds.

Beautiful trail. Shaded so refreshingly cool. Take a jacket. Thoroughly enjoyed this short walk. Look for the chinyero road signs. you can park on side of road and walk 600m or if you carry on around the bend there is a dirt track down the hill with plenty of parking for camper vans.

Very nice track

Great views from the north stretch of the trail!
