A really good mix of tracks, lovely forest trails, brilliant single track some nice ups and downs; views to die for. Takes you through a bit of the badlands. Only one point stumped me and that’s when you leave Gebas and cross the road and the track isn’t obvious that it goes up the rock and not the obvious track by the rio (doing the route clockwise). As we were on heavy ebikes we decided against the rock route and finished on road. All the same, a great route.

Great trail leading up to the Mirador del Lobo. Sometimes Rocky and steep in places. Great views at the top. Half shade half sun.

Rented bikes at the 'estatcion Via Verde' in Olvera. Friendly staff, bikes in very good condition. The trail itself is suoer nice and peaceful! Pro tip: don't drink to much beers on the way back to Olvera..! Better safe up till you made it :)

Ruta recomendada!

We absolutely loved the hike, it had some amazing views and was fantastic to get out of the busy city. We did however think it was a 16km round walk and were a bit surprised that it was actually 16km one way and 32km there and back from Granada. However it didn’t matter because it was a great hike. Would absolutely recommend this hike, definitely bring water, snacks and tissues...

Absolutely stunning trail most of the time. From south to north, in the right season, lots of wildflowers and enough variation in fauna and flora. Interesting historical features along the way, and cafes and albergues aplenty. Enjoyed this 7-8 week walk/hike very much. Didn’t find it hard overall but there were certainly some tough sections. Most of the trail very good to walk on, with only some rocky or after rain sticky mud sections. Moderate amount of on-road walking involved which we found harder on our feet than anything else.

Excellent! Did the reverse hike and only went about halfway, but the views are incredible

My first one on this app. Loved it!

This place suffered major fire in August 2019. No wild flowers or green trees. More like ash and black trees. That makes it unique at the moment. Do not take white clothes

We have hiked this trail four times so far. You can take bus number 300 from Granada to Beas for 2 euro and end the hike right in the center of Granada.

Great trail with amazing views. Myself and my wife used Uber to take us to the start of the trail which made things really easy. The beginning has some loose rocky, rutty roads so can be a bit slipper other than that the trail is easy to do. There are no shops on route so take plenty sun cream, water and some food. We kept a relaxed pace and did the walk in 4.5 hours. We’ve got some great pictures from it. No tourists on the trail which made a great break from busy Granada.

Easy incline, trails are dirt paths that are well marked. Amazing views all along the trail and of course the amusement park and cathedral at the top! Well worth the hike vs riding the funicular to the top.
