This was an amazing trail taking me through a road, farmland, forests, and eventually (after ~2 miles) above tree line to a rocky scramble up to the top of D’en Galileu and then Massanella. In a way, it was like being in the Rockies but right next to the ocean at the same time. I parked by the Restauran Ca’n Gallet, free parking right off Ma-10 and exactly at the trail start on this map. The conditions are currently excellent, and the Spanish do a good job with trail markers and mile postings along the way, except for the final scrambles where the trails pretty much blend in with the other rock and scree at the top. The climbs are very much like eastern US mountain climbs... few switchbacks, a straight shot up. Fairly easy scrambles. The trail is pretty exposed so be sure to protect yourself from the sun appropriately. There is no water so be sure to carry enough for a long day out in the sun. Also, there are a few ways to get back down from Massanella, but the one shown on this trail map passes through private property. The owner will be waiting almost at the very end of the trail and charge you 6 euros for using his land. Have cash in hand if you plan on following this map. I found it incredibly useful to make sure I got back to my car at an adequate time.

pay attention to the private road not to take at the 1st junction. The owner charges 6 € for the passage.

Steady climb up from Doller along good tracks well way marked. Then gentle descent in the sunshine ending up at the bus stop by the Area recreativo de Sa Font d'Es Noguer. Beautiful!

Great trail that’s pretty challenging depending on pace and weather conditions. Very well marked, except for a handful of points on the way up, but very well illustrated on AllTrails. Minor scrambling required towards the top above the tree line. Lots of open space to roam though, and good visibility, so you can make it as difficult or as easy as you’d like. Awesome view in all directions, sea, mountains, most of the island. Quite chilly and windy at the top, but intermittent sun warmed us up.

Nice trail we have done with are children (age 11). Good marks on the entire trail. Es Picarells is a camping spot so you might assume some crows during weekends. Rest of the trail with light traffic. After Es Pixarelles you walk about 10 min on the MA-10 which has some car traffic but you easily escape to the side of the street or walk entirely of the street.

Very nice hike with breathtaking views. The application Alltrails was very useful because trail not very well marked.
