This route goes to the Amics de Montgarri Mountain Hut, located in the characteristic isolated town of Montgarri. Right next to the mountain hut there is the Mother Church of Dieu de Montgarri, which was built on a hermitage from the 12th century. The landscape and the environment are unique and amazing. It's worth it! Note: it is important to look at the weather forecast if you hike this route in winter, where access will be by skis, snowmobile, snowshoes or dogsled.Show more

This route runs around Mayor de Colomers, a beautiful glacial lake located in the Valle de Arán region, in the province of Lleida. The Lake Mayor de Colomers is one of the largest in the Colomers glacial cirque, with more than 50 lakes surrounded by high peaks, such as the Tuc de Ratera. The route passes through the Colomèrs Refuge, a key point in the Arán Valley and has 60 places distributed in 5 rooms, it has a WC and showers. To get to the Colomèrs Refuge from June 15 to September 15, you must leave your car in the Banhs de Tredòs car park, a two-hour walk to the Refuge. There is the possibility of taking a taxi from the parking lot and the minimum distance on foot is approximately 40 minutes.Show more

A beautiful circular route that allows you to cross some of the lakes of the Colomers circus in an anti-clockwise direction (in this way, the most difficult steps, especially between the Helado and Pruning ponds, are made downhill and not going up). You leave by car from Salardú (Naut Aran) towards the Baños de Tredòs, a thermal establishment. Once there, the cars are left in the parking lot in front of the building and a path goes up to the right. In about an hour you will reach the Major de Colomers lake lock. The tour begins on the path to the right of Lake Mayor de Colomers. You pass in front of the Colomers refuge and, successively, along the edge of the Muerte and Garguilhs de Sus ponds, the small lagoons of the Port and the Helado tin, the highest on the route. A few meters further up you cross the podo neck - between the Cerro de los Osos and the Cerro de Pòdo - the ridge that reaches the same great hill of Colomers (2,934 m), the highest peak of the circus. From the neck, everything is downhill: it passes near the pruning pond, the Obago tin, the Redon lake and the Long tin (curiously there are two continuous ponds with the same name on the southeast slope of the great hill of Colomers: the ponds Redó and Llong, in the Colomers de Espot area). After a small climb that leads back to the Major de Colomers lake lock, take the track that returns to the Baños de Tredòs. At the height of Pònt la Montanheta there is the option of taking the same path that you had taken on the way out.Show more

Circular route that begins at the foot of a small stream and continues through tunnels and forest. It is accessed by a forest track suitable for cars (although 4x4 is recommended). Long route to do with children, and without a marked path on the way back (be careful in the forest as you have to find the best way to descend). There is no water on the way.Show more

Spectacular route in the Aran Valley, with amazing views and low technical difficulty, although you have to be in enough physical shape to endure some of the slopes that this hike runs. The first stop after a stony path with a lot of vegetation is the Estany de Restanca, beautiful for the color of its water and the tranquility that it transmits by stopping to have a well-deserved lunch. At this same point there is also the Restanca Refuge, where you can spend the night if you decide to do a harder route or the famous Carros de Foc. If you continue a little further you will reach the incredible Lac de Mar, of glacial origin and that will simply leave the hiker speechless.Show more
