I'd highly recommend this hike. A beautiful 6km trail, taking about 90min. Ample parking, shops, cafes and restaurants at the start. Spectacular views. Don't miss the segment through the village with the gorgeous cave houses. Would give 5* but I'd save that for hikes like Roque Nublo and the Caldera which are true bucket list routes.

Great hike. Gate says the trail shuts at 1700hrs but plenty of entry / exit points that rely on this point so don't sweat it.

Cozy forest nature trail. Well-maintained path, more walk than hike.

Beautiful way in great nature. We were there on a Saturday, so probably many locals were on the way. Especially in the back part of the way you need good shoes. Here, the path is sometimes quite adventurous.

Nice mix of road, track and trail. Great views.

Exelent views. Very loose terrain so wear appropriate foot wear, also no shade.

Great trail. Follows the water stream inside a fully shaded forest. Recommend bringing a light jacket if there is a chance of rain. In the last part there were a few chanllenging sections, so proper shoes are advised. Takes 3-4 hours.

Beautiful trail. Mostly in the shade. The end of the trail is a little difficult.

short tour of the cave

We did this hike around noon. It is very hot, not much air and little shade. The best is at the starting point namely the dam ...

very nice race. great view. passage in a scree a little difficult but there is a fixed rope to help. the end is long because it goes up and it goes down pretty well before the arrival at the dam

We did this one from San Bartolomé as we didn't want a big climb at the end. 2/3 of the trail is on unmade road which is dusty and throws up a lot of glare. There is very little shade. Whilst you cover the miles quickly, the road is tedious and seems to go on for ever. In its favour, the navigation is easy and I can imagine it suiting a group of friends who want a longish hike whilst chatting and not having to pay attention to route finding. This route is rated as a top trail in more than one publication, but whilst we enjoyed our day out there are more scenic trails from Tejeda.
