Hiking trail along the Pedras River and its tributaries. If you go on the AG11, take the exit of the Pobra Norte, and then towards the village, before reaching the traffic light at the junction with the AC305, you will see on the left the signpost to go to the natural pools of the river Pedras and Cruceiro de Lesón. You will actually pass in front of the church and the cruise, to where the road ends, at the foot of the remains of the Old Village. Here, take the path that goes up to the left, with signs of hiking PR. The first stretch is a fairly wide path, with areas that can become crowded when it is raining heavily. From the bridge of the Misarela (of medieval origin, which gave access to an ancient Franciscan area) the path narrows and goes up near the waterfalls, which are to your left, although the vegetation (silva, brushes, gorges) arrives a moment that almost blinds the path that is actually opened rather by the runoff of the rains. From the Misarela bridge, where two rivers meet that will make up the Pedras river, you can also go to the right, to reach one of the bathing areas of the several natural pools that formed in the bed. The path that goes up from the old convent of the Misarela reaches the plains of Barbanza.Show more
