Length: 7.4 mi • Est. 5 h 16 m
This route has a long history since it is actually the work of engineering. Near Tresviso there were some zinc mines and that is why this trail was built to carry this mineral loaded with animals to later transport it by boat to the sea. Its difficult access makes this natural site one of the most beautiful and spectacular of the Picos de Europa. The route is moderate, but the trail is very stony, so make sure you wear proper footwear. In winter there is usually snow and in summer it is hot, so be prepared and carry plenty of water.Show more

The Pico de San Vicente attracts attention for its accentuated shape and for how it is oriented, since it has an altitude of only 800 meters from the Gándara River and, however, everyone who sees it is amazed by its majesty. This route in the Sierra de Hornijo is worth it and the views of the Soba Valley and Ramales will leave any nature lover speechless.Show more
