Quick up and down, mostly stair climbing alongside smashing waves and medieval structures. Could you ask for any more? Hard to imagine how anyone was able to build this massive thing in such a crazy place.

Really cool hike with breathtaking artwork. Feels like you’re part of a fantasy adventure—be sure to stand at all the arrows to get the full experience. Watch the images come together like puzzles :)

Hike beautiful by its landscapes, but very delicate in some places (almost vertical rock). Do not do with a dog or hikers inexperienced !!

Great hike with direct and easy access from San Sebastián. Recommend sturdy shoes-no flip-flops!

Such a cool hike.

This is a spectacular trail. It’s a section of the Camino Del Norte, a long system along the northern coast of Spain. This is a 5-mile section between Donostia-San Sebastián & Pasaia. At either end, you’ll find steep stone stairways; in the middle you wind through beautiful wooded trails, with stunning views around every corner. I started in San Sebastián & attempted to loop around after reaching Pasaia, using alternate trails to make my way back, but found that they were harder to navigate. Many confusing twists & turns, & sections overgrown with thorns. I’d love to spend more time here. My only complaint is that there were a lot of other people on the trail. I traveled in early Sept which might be the busy season.

The biggest part of the trail is over roads, not really a feeling of hiking in nature.

Gorgeous trail. We started in San Sebastian and walked east for a few miles and then back down. We found one side trail that allowed us an incredible view from one of the rocky peaks.

Beautiful scenery. In August, somewhat of a highway though, shared with about 1000 people... and as a hike not very exciting: down and up, and back in 1h.

unfortunately something went wrong. as I am new to this and being my first solo hike instead of walking a scenic route I ended up walking through the streets and main road. pasaia was amazing though stunning scenery

the trail as mapped has been closed. there is a detour in place so you can still hike point to point, you just will not follow the mapped trail.

Walked this beautiful family friendly trail on a summer day. each view more beautiful than the next.

I recommend this trail to anyone looking for a good moderate hike. There are parts that are a steep climb up and steep climb down but it’s beautiful along the coast.

Wonderful place! the seaside is beautiful, it was really worth going to the top and ring the bell 3 times for good fortune;) BUT, it's not jokes, bring good shoes with good support, the Urizzata trail is made of big stone and is steep, it is easy to get lost. Happy hike everyone!

on Zumaia to Deba

Amazing view and really challenging. Requires proper hiking boots and some passages are climbing, could use a rope. Follow white red yellow marks and the red dots marks for summit. Not for kids or Sunday hikers.

Beautiful hike, passages in the forest and in the rocks. ATTENTION this hike is not "EASY", many passages are extreme! To avoid with young children.

This was one of my favorite hikes. Since I was staying in Bilbao I took the bus as close to this hike as possible (San Pelaio) which was €2.55 each way and then walked side of the road in the beautiful rural scenery there for round 45 minutes to and from the hike.

Awesome Trail!! bring good shoes and enjoy the amazing view.
