This trail sucks. The views suck. The footing sucks. Don’t do this trail.

Walked from Font de Moli through Km Vertical to the top. A challenging hike with amazing views. Physically not so challenging if you ascend at a slow pace, however it is technically challenging with a lot of scramble, loose rocks and steep sections. The ascent through the Km vertical is well worth it since you will have amazing views throughout the whole ascent compared to the route from the back of the mountain. On the way down I would recommend to walk on the backside of the mountain as it is an amazing trail with varying levels of difficulty and fantastic views. Don’t forget to enjoy a picnic after the hike. Sunday’s are very popular for bbq and picnic for the locals at Font de Moli.

this route is invalid. It is a private property with a closed gate after 400 meters of walking.

Magnifique randonnée en partie sous les arbres >> ombrée. Très beaux points de vue tout du long et, au sommet, le paysage est superbe ! Certains passages sur un chemin surélevé de pierres blanches sont aussi très beaux (une petite muraille de chine...:)

Really amazing trails , yust we were unlucky with weather (foggy ,rainy), so unstable and slippery rocks.

Nice and flat trail at the hop of the mountian . Sometimes in the woods but with great view usually.

Following the signposts for the Gr221. This part of the trail is well marked. The climb after Banyalbufar is steep and on paved roads.

Très belle randonnée. Un peu trop de vent aujourd’hui mais des paysages toujours merveilleux.

the trail is really good. Peacefull, easy, and beautiful. some part are on road, but it doesn't take long

Very nice hike in lonely and unspoilt nature. Partially pathless terrain with steep, rocky sections. Absolutely worth it!

We absolutely loved the hike, it had some amazing views and was fantastic to get out of the busy city. We did however think it was a 16km round walk and were a bit surprised that it was actually 16km one way and 32km there and back from Granada. However it didn’t matter because it was a great hike. Would absolutely recommend this hike, definitely bring water, snacks and tissues...

22 May ‘19 - 3 Jun ‘19, most amazing experience to date. not sure if this trail accounts for the hospital route or the pola route, but I took the hospital which may add more elevation to what is posted. Weather was mild, at times chilly and never hot, and the Austurian portion of the journey makes the journey worth it. The trails are mostly dirt/gravel, but in Galicia get quite rocky and not very comfortable. I had no issue with water, food, or shelter along this hike, as the people are very patient and welcoming and the hostaleros are very helpful. If you want a moderatley challenging experience with gorgeous views or are just interested in the Camino, the primitivo is the best and I can’t wait to come back

Road to the start is not for the nervous. Walked up the north track. Sometimes difficult to follow. A steady climb. Lots of interesting flora to see including some unusual cacti. One of the few places in Tenerife where you can walk over Pāhoehoe lava flows. You can also see possible lava tubes on the opposite side of the valley. Walk back on the South loop follows dirt roads. BE CAREFUL the path leaves the road at points. One place in particular is not very clear. the last 1 km is spectacular.

A tough trail physically and mentally. Not for the faint of heart. I took almost 4 hours to get to the top with pretty good pace. The beginning of the trail is steep and wooded which means not great views. On the top of the mountain you will get rewarded for you hard work with amazing views. Start early and take your time.
