Length: 185.9 mi • Est. Multi-day
The Original Way or Primitive Way has this name since it was the first route to Santiago de Compostela, when in the 9th century most of Spain was still under Arab control. The Camino de Santiago became the de facto symbol of the reconquest and oppression of Christians. Today, the "Primitive Way" is the most challenging of all routes. It crosses the Cambrian mountains, with stunning views over the Picos de Europa, giving hikers the opportunity to live a pure hiking experience. The second part, in the Roman city of Lugo, is a quiet walk through forests and farmland, joining the French Way to Santiago de Compostela, in Melide.Show more

Length: 203.6 mi
This route is part of a multi-week walk along the Camino del Norte, a pilgrimage route that begins in Irún and ends at the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela. Legend has it that the remains of the Holy Apostle Santiago are buried there. It can be done in a wide variety of ways and from different starting points. In this case, this route is carried out by bicycle in several stages, starting in Avilés, Asturias and ending in the Plaza de la Catedral de Santiago. This route takes pilgrims along the wonderful coast of northern Spain, from the Basque Country, through Cantabria, Asturias to Santiago de Compostela, in the center of Galicia. Every spring and summer many people follow their routes as a form of spiritual path or retreat. It is also popular with hiking and biking enthusiasts and organized tour groups. Length: 14.1 mi
The Senda del Oso is a pedestrian and cycling track that crosses the municipalities of Quirós, Santo Adriano, Proaza and Teverga. These four councils make up the Valles del Oso, where one of the last populations of the Cantabrian Brown Bear inhabit, one of the three species of brown bears found in Europe. It runs along an old mining railway line, of low difficulty and with little slope. Caves are crossed, near a river, gorges and much more. The road is well maintained and there is no risk. Ideal for families and cycling groups. The views are splendid. There are several route options. You can choose to bring your own bike or rent one at Bicisendadeloso. At the end of the route you can see four bears in a large fence. There are places to have picnics and have a wonderful day.Show more

Length: 40.8 mi • Est. Multi-day
Departure from the car park on the Cares gorges route in Poncebos. Access by bike is prohibited in the first section, but afterwards it is a lot of fun until the end. The route passes through a beautiful lake in the area of Collada, El Pando and El Arnao. Continue to the Monte de Corona and climb to Cordinanes de Calderón in Mata de Los LLanos through the Posada de Valdeón and from here to Santa Maria de Valdeon, La Prida and Canabedo through wonderful dirt roads in a very picturesque area in the middle of the Picos from Europe to Tresalera and Fuente Dè which is a good place to possibly break this long journey in two since it is too long to do everything in the same day. Starting from Fuente Dé you reach Espidama and from here continue towards Cueto del Gato and then La Pegollà. Afterwards you arrive at Invernales de Iguedri and then at Campoijto. Continue to Campo Menor and Campo Mayor, Castillo de La Lomba and Cuesta Cortes along wonderful dirt roads that cross a beautiful mountain area passing through the Canalón de Jerro and Vallejas de Juan Vieyu,Show more
