Amazing views of a deep limestone gorge from start to finish. The only challenge at all is the length. There is a taxi or bus service available at either end if you decide not to do the exact same walk back. But it is worth it to go both ways, the steep walls and all the twists and turns provide new views going the opposite way.

This is an amazing hike with awesome views, highly recommend doing this if you are in Austurias

We just did this (end of May) and it was a cloudy day with light drizzle, all very manageable with a down jacket or raincoat. Amazing views everywhere and for parts of the hike the clouds would engulf the area we were hiking. Trail is very clear and apparent, you cannot get lost

Also saw lots of mountain goats, they are not aggressive at all and will usually walk/run away when you get close to them

My wife and I are in OK shape and each way was around 3.5hrs (incl photos), so 7hrs in total. No toilets or drinking water along the trail that we saw, but there are restaurants and cafes at each town at the start and end of the trail where you can use the bathroom or buy water, food, etc

Ps. If you start at Pescabos, the trail is actually on your right hand side going up the side of the mountain quite steeply for the first 45mins (fairly flattish after that). Don’t go on the flat road in the middle, don’t think that leads anywhere

beautiful walk in the picos..if your there go do it!

Amazing views! Long but mostly flat apart from the first 45 min or so. Well worth it!
