Easy trail but steep at some points. The views on top are worth it.

I went in November. perfect sunny weather. It's one of the most beautiful hikes I've ever done. If you're afraid of heights, do NOT do it. I saw a few people that were terrified and you have to walk back 3 hours if your phobia doesn't let you cross the final metal bridge.

The route shown isn't the full or only loop (it's for the Cortijo del Hornillo), and the complaints about the view change when you cross to the north side of the Genil. The route then becomes 22.5 km but the views are unbeatable with the back range in view at every turn. There's a steep ascent after crossing the river, a bit of route-finding past Refugio de la Cucaracha, and steep downhill down to the river at the back of the canyon before you turn to come back. https://treksierranevada.com/downloads/VeredaEstrellaLoop.pdf?fbclid=IwAR1UC-bERk2zns5WE6fZzUHSCmUpIFUZ4Mm5LR3qRey7KY4U5TRLi5X-_mU

Sentier magnifique et très facile au début devenant difficile à partir du milieu du trajet. Sensibles au vertige s’abstenir. Vue imprenable sur la côte Marocaine, Gibraltar et Marbella tout le long et surtout à la fin.

Cool views, but wasn't comfortable at times like walking on public active road without pedestrian section or at times feels like walking on private property because of all road blockades

Wandeling aan de rand van de Sierra de las Moreras naar een heel bijzonder rotsblok dat als offersteen zou gebruikt zijn. Laatste stuk zonder pad dus op GPS wandelen.

Good little walk up to the waterfall, but a bit of a scramble to get to the final bit. There’s a particularly tricky part where the trail runs into the river, but it’s worth persisting. Also worth going past the initial waterfall up the right side of the gorge to walk along all the irrigation channels.

La Concha just has to be done and when you reach the top rewarded with stunning views. Although it’s quite a long haul up, tool me 5 hrs or so up and down , it’s not ridiculously steep. However, there are definitely some hairy parts which won’t be for the faint of heart if you are scared of heights! Take plenty if water and wear proper hiking shoes or boots.

Pleasant trail, light traffic in January. Great views, especially from the summit, which requires that you take the Sendero Istan Ojén for the last push to the spectacular outlook.
