Length: 6.7 mi • Est. 4 h 13 m
Start at 550 meters of altitude in the vicinity of the staircase and walk along the Pedreras road towards the east. Pass by the source of the jet stream. Leave the Cortijo de las Pedreras on your left. Cut through a path between almond trees and return to the lane and abandon it again to cut the road until you reach the vicinity of the Cortijo de la Rejanada with its Fuente de la Viuda. You will be at 810m. Nearby, is the location of Nescania, a Roman city of which there is absolutely nothing left. You will be at 856m. Continue along the lane until you reach Cortijo Campano. Here you will take a detour through the left lane that ascends in a northerly direction through the mountains. Arrive at a certain point of the lane, specifically at 940 m altitude, turn left to go up the northern slope in the way you understand best, avoiding weeds and thorns and sliding to the southeast until you reach the top of Huma (1190m) and its geodesic point. Once you have decided to go down, you will go down the southwest ridge looking for a lookout with a large flybridge and where you will have good views of the pits that surround you. Then you will change the direction towards the southeast by a road in poor condition, looking for an access that will leave you in the Cortijo Campedrero. Go to the south and, through a barbed wire fence to reach the "ladder", a climbing area frequented by fans of the sport. You will arrive at your starting point completing a very beautiful and interesting route.Show more
