Let's start by declaring that the trial provides access to beautiful scenery. High level cliffs, flowers, rock hyrax (dassies), sea birds. However, this is not a trail for the couch potatoes. Rather book a gholf cart at Pinnacle Point... The paths are typical mountain paths, rocky, uneven, slippery in many areas. Small sections close to Mosselbay are flat and sandy. Close to Danabay is on the beach. The rest (90%) is up and down, around the coves, over the "points"... Look at the trail stats... The information board at the start in Mosselbay suggests 6 hours. We did it just over 5, with 30 minutes (max, cumulative) stops for water and photos. I am a hiker, fit, but hike for fun, not to race... I took 750ml water with me, not enough! Fortunately the guard at Pinnacle Point was gracious to fill up our bottles. Doing it as a round trip, I salute you! As closure, it is a great walk, beautiful... Thanks to my son for accompanying me and share this pleasant experience.

very nice! I made the hike again the next day! But you should be reasonably well equipped with water and good shoes. Sometimes it has short, challenging climbs with chains in the rock. Due view is fantastic !!

One of the most beautiful hikes I have done with a bit of everything. Ancient forests, open fynbos with beautiful flowers and birds, mountain streams, open grass plateau and stunning sea views. When we hiked it the section down into Harold Porter was closed due to flooding damage, so we did it as an out and back hike from Oubosch.

Really pretty hike. Definitely not an easy climb but very enjoyable.

Very nice just the end is in a garden. Should rethink the ending. When you return after crossing the river go left instead of right. First stairs up you can use to go back onto the part you came.

I started this route at the Cecelia Forest entrance and made a right turn into the Bush shortly after passing the hut in the parking area. Followed the route uphill as much as I could and navigated towards the waterfall. From there, started the decent towards Kirstenbosh gardens and kept left until I reached the Cecelia parking lot. This is a quick loop with a fair amount of leg burn. Strenuous on the knees.

Lovely 2hr muscle stimulating Sunday Morning walk .

Amazing trail, shaded lots of different views. And once you get to the top the dam is so pretty so see. Definitely recommend this trail, it’s not for unfit people though

Very straightforward hike that gets you up Table Mountain simply and efficiently on a clearly marked path. Great views of course to the sea plus really interesting rock formations at the top plus some small water features such as the dams.

We ended up going up the front side (reverse) and then coming back down the same way. 3.5 hours at a slow pace (with my 67 year old dad). Great hike, great views. Bring water, a hat, and sunscreen if you don't start early. We started at 6am and it was very hot on the way down. Overall would recommend.

Beautiful hike up to Cape Point Lighthouse from the Cape of Good Hope with a side trip to Dassie Beach. Very windy this day but I imagine most days are. A bit rocky but the biggest challenge is the wind. Dassie Beach is beautiful and the water isn’t as cold as I would think but again the wind blowing the sand against your body not so fun. All said the views along this trail are outstanding and well worth dealing with the wind.

The first half is a bit boring, steep up. But the finish through the river is great

First time and loved it, did a few of the single tracks, will be returning soon

One of the most beautiful hikes you can do! Some tough climbing a very loose descent (kurktrekker / corkscrew).
