It’s an amazing mountain biking trails park. It has great features and caters for all from beginners to pro’s. It’s roughly 30 km in length and is generally well maintained. The food and coffee is great and at reasonable prices too.

Definitely one of the best hiking trials in both jozi and the magaliesburg area. Taking the route down through the gorge is definitely worth it. Always recommend going there with an athletic buddy or two. Enjoy.

An delightful trail with a worthwhile view at the turn point. There is a stream halfway. The water is drinkable if you are used drinking mountain water. About 50m upstream are some small pools for wallowing.

I hiked from mosselbay to Pinnacle Point on the trail and it was rather easy with excellent views. Apparently it gets harder from that point on.

Awesome hike... steep in some areas. Downhill is brutal on the knees but well worth it. Reminded me of the climb up Table Mountain in some parts

Nice stroll with opportunity to see baboons

Very nice and varied trail; we passed sand beaches, volcanic rock, forest, and fynbos. Hiking the volcanic rock is not safe with high tide, but right before the rocky part there’s a restaurant and little shop where they can tell you whether or not it’s safe. If it’s gonna be high tide there’s another trail that goes past the volcanic rock part.

Easy trail for a great family outdoor experience. R45 per adult.Great picnic spots and clean bathrooms. Little tuck shop on the premises. Horse riding also available at R110 per hour.

Very steep. Not good for running. Hiking.. not much great views.

Very steep. Took us 1h45, no breaks, running every time we could. For people in shape. More hiking than cross country running.

Strenuous in parts, with the most beautiful views! Love spending time in this spot! I feel super safe even when hiking on my own!

This trail feels like home to me now. Enough shade and resting spots. I love love love it! lots of water required to keep hydrated.

Rocky and a little challenging. Really poor signage!

This was a great hike through the nature reserve. The beginning and end were rocky and a little steep, but not technical. I was out during midday and still saw lots of wildlife, to include giraffes and zebras. The trail was well maintained and clearly marked.

This was the first time I did Hedianga and I found it to be clean, have well-marked trails and also very peaceful. The only confusion I had on trail was towards the end where I felt like I may be going around in a loop and getting back in. I luckily managed to find my way back out

Remote trail just behind Kapp-se-baken peak on the valley side towards Oudtshoorn. Beautiful scenery and great trail to run.

Great walk with Pruimpie se Gat my Kid's first cave experience. The cable car over the river another highlight on the Route. Great views and great picnic site with very welcome pool at the end of the hike. Extremely accommodating staff. Well done!!!

Very clean. Am happy with it and please if possible put kilos marking on each kilos..

This trail is a nice alternative to Table Mountain. We have extended the trail to V&A Waterfront which gives a nice mix between wildlife and city walk. it is an easy walk. Walking down from Signal Hill to V&A Waterfront is a bit steep.

Starting at Kloof Nek parking instead of closer to the start of the Diagonal route adds a nice 45-minute "warmup" to the hike--only a few extra km, and a beautiful walk. Be sure to stop at the cave before rounding Porcupine Buttress and take in the views. The scrambles on the Diagonal are (for the most part) balanced out with fairly flat sections, so there is usually a respite between climbs. The longest scramble is up Porcupine Ravine, but the views are phenomenal. Turning the route into a loop and returning via Kasteelspoort is a nice alternative, and makes the return a bit more interesting. Both trails are hot in summer and have very little shade; please be careful to bring enough water. :-)
