Great for short hikes and quick swim with mates. Has one of the best dome pools for kids too. Trail is badly marked but can definitely figure it out if you know how to read a map. Go out and enjoy.

Great flow, with challenging technical sections and climbs, really rewarding and absolutely worth it! A true Mountain bikers paradise!

An delightful trail with a worthwhile view at the turn point. There is a stream halfway. The water is drinkable if you are used drinking mountain water. About 50m upstream are some small pools for wallowing.

It's very moderate at the base of the mountain and scenic. The trails are clearly marked and well maintained. it gets very steep and hard. to the point that your knees touch your chest as you climb the steps. Very worth it. Once at the top, it's windy. Be careful not to get blown off the mountain.

Jolie randonnée, assez courte mais avec des paysages époustouflants. Nous sommes passé par le côté Tiger Falls en premier, qui je pense, offre une montée plus agréable et moins raide que de commencer par les Cascades.

I hiked from mosselbay to Pinnacle Point on the trail and it was rather easy with excellent views. Apparently it gets harder from that point on.

Awesome hike... steep in some areas. Downhill is brutal on the knees but well worth it. Reminded me of the climb up Table Mountain in some parts

Nice stroll with opportunity to see baboons

Very nice and varied trail; we passed sand beaches, volcanic rock, forest, and fynbos. Hiking the volcanic rock is not safe with high tide, but right before the rocky part there’s a restaurant and little shop where they can tell you whether or not it’s safe. If it’s gonna be high tide there’s another trail that goes past the volcanic rock part.

Great trail and wonderful views back towards Camps Bay and of the wreck. Bit of a climb up to Rocket Road but worth the effort. Little overgrown along the path back towards Sandy Bay beach. Take your dog and enjoy the peace.

A very nice trail that is well maintained. There were actually workers on the trail clearing the grass as I ascended. Be mindful that there are trails connected to private property. There is security at the parking area, sign in at a booth before you go and a fee.

Easy trail for a great family outdoor experience. R45 per adult.Great picnic spots and clean bathrooms. Little tuck shop on the premises. Horse riding also available at R110 per hour.

Great trail close to Pretoria and Centurion. Beautiful scenery. Well demarcated for easy walking without a map. Stunning picnic spots, clean bathrooms. Great for a day outdoors. R45 per adult.

First things first, there is a day permit fee of R50, no cash. From the gate of the nature reserve to the start of the trail you will need a high profile car. Smaller cars can take the bumpy gravel ride but I advise a 4x4 or SUV. The reserve closes at 6pm, without checking if there are cars still inside. Plan to start your hike early in the day. It’s a tough trail with loose rocks and steep climbs. The views at the top are breathtaking though. This is not a hike for chancers. You need to be sure about your fitness. The board at the start of the trail reads 17,1km but the loop is about 13,4km and can be completed just under 6hours.

Very steep. Not good for running. Hiking.. not much great views.

Very steep. Took us 1h45, no breaks, running every time we could. For people in shape. More hiking than cross country running.

Beautiful! Tough hike and the loose rocks coming down is a bit hectic, but the scenery and being outdoors is so worth it.

Eine wirklich tolle kurze Wanderung. Gerade in der Wende ist es landschaftlich atemberaubend. Badesachen nicht vergessen.

Very beautiful walk!
