The hike starts from the most southern residential area of Camps Bay, heads up one of the gullies between the 12 Apostles. Once on top of Table Mountain, use a myriad of trails to pass some huts used by the South Africa Scouts (there's a public hut as well that looks like it would be a great place for a picnic). You'll pass above the reservoirs and head through Echo Valley towards the upper cable station. The cable car costs 125 rand. There is a cafe and shops at the top, which is a great place for a sandwich and a beer. Come back down the cable car and head back. Lots of streams, birds, and steps.Show more
