Très jolie randonnée, mais qui se termine malheureusement sur un long bout de route assez dangereuse, sans trottoir ou bas-côté et avec peu de visibilité

You have to pay an entrance fee closer to the falls. No warning posted anywhere and they don’t accept card.

Great waterfall as mentioned and the photos. Best tips...get there Early as the waterfalls can only be accessed by a handful at a time, the cost is 4 Euros per person, and take the side trail called Trenches to see WW1 trenches. Also, cross the pedestrian bridge take some amazing pictures and walk back via the small shaded road. Parking at waterfall is 1.5 Euros. Finally, check out the great WW1 Museum in Korbarid.

Pleasant, easy, family-friendly hike. The trails are wide, well marked, and not very steep. Doesn’t get intermediate until the very end, which involves climbing slippery stairs. Worth it for the view. Come early in the day to avoid crowds and long lines before the waterfall-we waited about 20 minutes for a field trip to clear out. It looked like construction was happening right before the waterfall. I suspect they may be building a ticket office to see the falls. Bring a couple euro just in case... I suggest taking a detour through some old WWI trenches. The trail is well-marked and visible in the map. It’s far easier to take the detour on the way back.

Not a single person on the trail, did this along with the historic trail before eating dinner at Hisa Franko (Amazing!). Beautiful trail, , decently marked, easy to moderate with great views of the falls, river and amazing WWI trails. You'd never believe the blue of the river in the winter...stunning! When you walk through town stop and grab some local cheese and bread for a trail snack.
