As Singapore's largest nature park, Chesnut Nature Park is actually comprised of two sections (north and south). This park features a variety of recreational activities; visitors can go hiking, biking, or bird watching. Take note that this is Singapore's first park that has separate trails for hiking and mountain biking! Make sure to check out the habitat enhancements done by NPark. Due to their continued efforts, Chesnut Nature Park is home to a variety of native tree species. Some tree species include the Singapore Walking-Stick Palm and Jelutong. Additionally, these tree species provide a way for wildlife to develop and survive. Note that pets and smoking are not allowed at this park.Show more

Formerly a sand quarry, Bedok Reservoir Park encompasses the Bedok Reservoir making it a great place for water sport enthusiasts. This park features large amounts of biodiversity, check out the wetland plants provided by the Active, Beautiful, and Clean (ABC) Waters Programme. Visitors can also expect to see a variety of bird species in the water and on land making this a prime place for bird watching! Keep an eye out for the kingfishers fishing for their lunch, it surely is a magnificent sight! Other things to do at Bedok Reservoir Park include: dragon boating, wakeboarding, kayaking, and fishing. This park is also used as a track for nearby schools! Note that this is a no smoking park and it is wheelchair accessible.Show more
