The first half of this trail was great, with beautiful views over loch lomond and some nice countryside walking and variation. The last half unfortunately ruined it for us and it was completely along a road for around 2 hours. There was a pavement but no views at all and it was quite a busy road. I would recommend walking to Luss Road and then turning back and walking the way you came rather than continuing the circle.

Good walk, very boggy at times and footpath not always visible. Good views from the top. Took us just under 3 hours to complete the loop.

Delightful especially if you want an easy charming walk with or without kids. The fairies and trolls made it fun for grown ups too

We did this trail with our 10 month-old in a backpack carrier. It's definitely doable, but leave yourself more time and pack plenty of baby-friendly bug repellent because midges apparently love babies. :( Give yourself plenty of breaks and enjoy the views of Loch Lomand.

Sadly, i picked a day when the wind & rain was coming sideways. Getting to the summit, myself & a few others were unsure if we actually at the top due to minimal visibility. Probably a wasted climb due to not getting the views from the top, but definetily re-climb sometime soon. Nearing the summit can be a little bit of a scramble & slippy underfoot in the rain.
