Starting at the mill and walking along the boardwalk is a nice walk then after you cross the bridge you get a couple of fantastic viewing platforms to see the power of the waterfalls. then it's a long walk back to New Lanark. after you cross the 2nd bridge there is a gate that says keep dogs on leash and 24h CCTV in operation. this is the gate to get back on to the walkway. it looks like private property but it's fine to go through. took us 2h45min to walk the entire walk.

nice wee hill

No hiking boots required, this is more like a long walk in the park. Very nice but not difficult.

I would recommend this trail to anyone new to hill walking. I myself have only just started and my cardio is not great but i managed to complete in just under two hours with a few stops for photos on the way back down.

good walk with the dog.

Nice wee loop. Gets the pulse going as it's like a stairmaster up to the plateau.

I never enjoyed this walk as trail is beside busy dual carriageway. you turn in eventually around halfway and it is much more enjoyable. Nothing to write home about tho. Strathclyde Park much better and only 10 min drive away.

A beautiful walk through woodland paths. Some steep down and uphill areas but not difficult. Paths well maintained.

Fairly challenging if you’re not used to hill walking... but was totally fine/easier for people with experience. It’s 711m high, we climbed yesterday morning... think it took me and a friend about an hour and a half to get up and down. Nice views up at the top. Probably a good place to start if you want to work your way up to climbing munros around Scotland. Planning Ben Nevis in a couple months too... so we’re hiking as many hills/munros as we can to prepare.

Found this quite hard (my shih tsu loved it) but was so worth it reaching the top! Cairn halfway then tinto cairn at the top, so basically your hiking two hills! Well worth it and at the bottom drop in to the cottage across from the tea room, their eggs are amazing!

I done this with my friend and her husband. This was her first hill she did struggle but managed to make it to the top. for experienced people this will be easy , good walk for dogs as well.

loved it took my son.

Regularly run this route, wholey or in part, with the dog. Great park hope they will get the white bridge fixed soon though. Has a tendency to be muddy in stretched when the weather is bad.
