Loved this walk. Nice and easy to do, can follow the provided path or can go and explore down on the rocks if you wish if the weather is nice. Took our Cocker Spaniel who absolutely loved sniffing about and jumping up the rocks to explore. Great walk for all. Will definitley be back to do this walk again.

Lovely town walk. And no, of course dogs don’t need to be on a lead As always, they should be under control.

A walk I use when other family members want to go into town. It lets me and our dog get out and stretch our legs a little. Nice wide paths, paved and very easy. Can be a bit over crowded near the Theme park area but when you get past that it is less travelled.

Nice easy walk that has no trouble spots. Flat tarmac paths that just seem to go on forever. Would happily walk the full length of the Deeside way all the way to Ballater but would then need to walk all the way back to get my car. Some times we will just walk one hour out and then turn and come back, other times we will walk two hours out. All depends on how much time you have available and willing to do. Could to just get out and stretch the legs if you don't wan to do any thing arduous.

Calming next to the water. Always down here as a kid. Sadly moved away but when I visit family I come down here. History of the village underneath is interesting.

I would recommend this trail if you are looking for a decent easy walk. A good one to do if you have young children as it’s flat enough to take a pram around or to let them have a wee walk by themselves
