Just as good as any of the waterfalls we seen in the Canadian Rockies last year!

HikingGreat!

Dead easy walk and well patched out - some steeper climbs but only short and an excuse to take breaks on the way up!

My three star rating may be unfair. I walked this track following a spell of really heavy rain and some snow fall. The first few miles of the walk are relative flat and go along an old railway line in the valley. There is a water crossing and after that is when the hill really starts. The first part of the climb is steep but it does flatten out into a pleasant hike. As a result of the recent weather the old railway line path was very, very wet and I felt I spent more time jumping over puddles than actually walking. The river crossing was made near impossible by the fast flowing river and no obvious means by which to cross - I ended up taking my boots and socks off and going for it, unfortunately the water was still above my knees. I reached the summit, however made the choice to turn back around due to the very dense fog. I was wary the summit is at the top of a corrie and visibility was reduced to a few meters only. Otherwise, I imagine the views would be great. If you choose to do this route I would reccomend completing it during a dry spell to avoid the same issues as me. You can park at the Dalmunzie Hotel for £2.50 for the day. 3 stars based on my experience, however one I will likely do again in the summer.

Rando pas terrible, les arbres sont coupé et en vrai c’est hyper facile . Ça reste sympathique à faire en famille mais vraiment c’est plus une ballade qu’une randonné.

The trail from the car park is a 4WD ACCESS ROAD so easy to follow. Fork left or right depending on the side of the loch u want to visit. Jocks Road goes Left. Jocks Road changes as it reaches the Loch to a single track that runs the side of Loch Callater then up and over to Glenn Dolll. If you are planning the full route then know how to read a map use a compass or follow GPS as easy to get lost on the upper plateau after you scramble Up the grassy hillside. The single track path is not easy to see.

Waterfall seemed a bit dried up, and it was difficult to see the biggest parts from the trail. The outer side of the trail was also a disappointment since all the trees were recently chopped down. Bit depressing looking actually.

My wife, son, and I completed this hike on a quick stop to Highlands. It packs a lot of scenery for each step. Loved the mystical look of the forest and the lush green everywhere.

Randonné située à droite du complexe commerciale. Vue sur les cascades. Beaucoup de montée mais convient quand même aux enfants.

An excellent trek after stuffing yourself with fish and chips at House of Bruar! Beautiful views of the river and distant Cairngorms. We went on a Friday afternoon and still only saw a handful of other walkers. The way up was a bit tough for my elderly mother, but there are plenty of benches and nice places to rest. Overall a very lovely walk in the woods!

Loch Leven Heritage Trail, Perth kinross Scotland . I've been here many times, and find this a nice easy walk on some very good flat paths that are well maintained. There's lovely views over the loch... you are taken away from the Loch side into wooded path areas for a short time, but still very enjoyable. Once on the turn at the top of the Loch the scenery is lovely. Also lots of places to stop and look at the wild birds. World first Bee Sanctuary also. You can also go on a boat that will take you to a small island where Mary Queen of Scots was held captive. Midges were a problem.. but only in some areas...Enjoy.
