Climb this just over a week ago , found the first part the hardest straight out the car park felt it got easier as it went on . Wad raining and visibility at top wasn’t the greatest but still managed to see a bit . Hopefully get back in a clear day .

First time - Climbed it on Friday , absolutely miserable soaked to the bone with hardly any vision, worth it though . Went back up yesterday morning sun was splitting the skies , the views are something else didn’t want to come down . Love it

Great trail up to the reservoir, then turns very boggy. Some incredible views though!

Husband and I went on a rainy evening, started at around 19:15, finished at 23:24. Because it was rainy and misty we didn’t get to see much of the anticipated views- will come back again when weather is great. Overall, it was really fun!

Nice and quiet during lockdown and some interesting things to see - including old pump house for reservoirs and lots of bird species. Bit muddy in areas after a heavy day of rain but to be expected!

Fabulous morning hike. Sumitted in an hour 15mins despite my 8yr old niece crying for the first 500m. Had gnats for the first 500m while climbing a staircase but soon disappeared. After that there is a nice flat section which leads to the half way mark. Then again climbing a well marked staircase to the top. Views are lovely. Even on an overcast day. Was busy but not overcrowded. Lots of dogs and children’s taking part. 2km to the top from the car park.

Great hike however today was really foggy and I lost the path and got into a bit of difficulty resulting in missing out in reaching Cairnwell, reached three out of four Munro’s

Flat and dog-friendly, can be done in 1h 30mins

Avoid going around Peppermill Dam. Overgrown, horrendous underfoot and constantly soaking/muddy. The rest of the walk is good

Tough at times, work was being done on the path today and will make a huge difference. Smallest Munro but not easy! Couple of parts where you need to scramble but more than doable.

Very narrow path and with good weather it can get busy.

Tough wee up hill, 20 minutes through the Forrest, worth it tho, when you come out, the hills really open up to you, easy trek up narnain , steps all the way, beautiful veiw at the top, took the descent down the other side, which is a bit tougher , but great.

Brilliant walk however i’d advise to follow the directional route shown as i decided to go the opposite way round the loop and seriously regretted it

This was my one on my favourite hikes while in Scotland last year. Very windy, but the light house was so interesting i had to see it. Great steep staircase down.

A little buggy at the bottom. Only went up to Ben Ime since we were exhausted after that. Was so beautiful once the clouds lifted. There were a ton of people going up the cobbler. Decent is definitely tough on your feet. Going to do Narnain sometime soon!

super trail for families, lots to see and loads of space!

Lovely trail - didn’t make it up the hill because inappropriate shoes caused blisters but will return to complete it with better footwear.
