Great hikes with lots of different terrain and great views. Very windy at and near the peak so have warm clothes on hand.

Very nice trail. Recommend doing the trail clockwise heading up the mountain trail to start. This would be the left side going up. Once you come out of the woods there is quite a bit of scrambling in the middle section. But the trail is well marked. There are even large piles of rocks along the way to help you know where the trail is. It will get the heart pumping on the way up. The way down is much easier on the opposite side. If you wanted to avoid some scrambling you could go up and down the right side of the trail to make it easier. But the loop is much more fun that’s for sure. The views at the top are incredible. It took us about 4 hours but we stopped many times for photos and had about 30 mins at the top for lunch. You could do it in 3 hrs or less if you move at a fast pace and don’t stop. It was nice to hike a marked trail. Not too crowded. We came across another 8-10 hikers along the whole trail.

A very well maintained trail with a great variety of views - ancient woodland, bleak moorland, grey mountains, plunging gorge. Going clockwise, the rocky scramble after you emerge from the wood is the most challenging section, and could be dangerous in snow and ice. The trail here is not so distinct and easily missed, which can take you near some sheer drops, so care is needed. Takes about 2 hours. Do take a booklet guide with you for some interesting insights along the way, which are waymarked. Highly recommended.

Great wee trail with good variety of terrain from easy paths to scrambling, weather was dry and very little to no wind on the day which made for a good day out,but challenging all the same

The first half of this trail is great as it is on a quiet road and then trail. The second half leads you to a busy road which is not so enjoyable, especially with a dog.

Great introduction to Scotland. Easy and a good warmup for more difficult trails to come.

Moderate with some difficult patches on the descent especially when raining. Summit was very windy. Started the trail at Glenmore Visitors centre.

Great distance for a run! Awesome views along the way

Steep climb through gorgeous flowered forest, up steep rockslide, past alpine lakes, with great views throughout. One of our favourites ever!

The weather can change very quickly. So we were not till the top. Very Nice trail. But sometimes hard.

Holy hard. This trail is not for the faint of heart. I recommend bringing adequate gear, including trekking poles. There is a lot of rock scrambling and it’s very steep. We got caught in a down pour near the top and were afraid we were running out of daylight so we turned around before the summit. I’d try it again if I ever come back but make sure the weather is right since rain and steep rocks aren’t the safest. Believe the rating when it says hard.

Superb hike with a dazzling lost valley at sunrise. However, I would not recommend this course to children under 6 or 7 years old ... Especially during rainy weather. We did a morning of a day where we had 28 degrees and in spite of everything some parts were slippery ... I do not dare to imagine in rainy weather!

The hike was hard but faisible on the first part to the sommit, even so it was very cloudy. After passing the top, it was hard to find our way without any indications and visibility. At some point it was hazardous and only on way with abseiling possibility only. Without any gear we bailed on our loop tour. Hopefully with a good weather it will be more suitable to find the path.
