Good round trip, frozen conditions so not as muddy as I would think normally

Well maintained, a bit rocky and some tree roots. Glad I was wearing boots. Lovely.

lovely trail with a steep decent in to the actual gorge

Nice trail. It can be a quick hike if you follow the trail as mapped via all trails. Hike along the round and follow the glen finch route. Steep decent that requires little care. Wear water shoes.

Great trail but is definitely hard on the knees. Great sights and views across Loch Lomond. Goes up and down constantly. Can be slippery, so keep focussed.

This is actually a mountain biking track not suitable for walkers at all,the bikers seemed to enjoy it.

A bit jarring going down—very slippery and steep. Be prepared to get a little dirty. But it’s worth it once you make it down!

Did the whole way quite a few years ago. But now I would only do stages. This one is moderately flat. But gives you a good taste of what's on the menu on the rest of the west Highland way. If you dare. Enjoy. You will.

It’s easy at the start as you go along dirt/gravel track but as it winds up the hill it gets tougher. You can take the path to the right which is easier but I took path to left which takes you along next to the stream through the forest. At one point I thought I was off track but as you go further it takes you into a valley with long grass and forest each side. I cut up through the forest to right and joined a normal path again which became much easier. I recommend you take the easier path to the right. But still a great hike.

It is a low traffic walk and with so many varing route options good for whatever energy levels you have that day

One of the most magical hikes I have ever done. Parking was a bit tough to find, we had to walk along the toad with the kids but once we got down the steep old staircase the reward was amazing.

What an experience! Beautiful views. 7 days with full pack/gear was a nice pace. Signage eveywhere, so easy to follow without a map. Loch Lomond, as mentioned, toughest part - technical with the narrow path and rocks. Also, ensure you pack proper rain gear because most of this baby is very exposed, so not much greenery to seek shelter under. Be ready for mother nature in those stretches.

Brilliant. Did it in 5 days carrying all equipment etc. Something you’ll never forget. Do it in May and avoid midges!

Lovely easy walk through probably Glasgows most popular park for familys. Well maintained pathways with nice woodland areas to walk through. Great day out for the kids.
