What an experience! Beautiful views. 7 days with full pack/gear was a nice pace. Signage eveywhere, so easy to follow without a map. Loch Lomond, as mentioned, toughest part - technical with the narrow path and rocks. Also, ensure you pack proper rain gear because most of this baby is very exposed, so not much greenery to seek shelter under. Be ready for mother nature in those stretches.

Brilliant. Did it in 5 days carrying all equipment etc. Something you’ll never forget. Do it in May and avoid midges!

Lovely easy walk through probably Glasgows most popular park for familys. Well maintained pathways with nice woodland areas to walk through. Great day out for the kids.

Excellent signage. Well maintained and very clear. Loch Lomond was the toughest bit. Comfortable completion in 7 days and still enough energy to climb Nevis on the 8th day. Supplies are available, but can be some distance apart. Same for water and facilities. Lots of camp grounds available, little wild camping in the national park due to band but permits are cheap.

Great place to go mountain biking, some serious exercise getting to the top but totally worth when you hit the trails back down

Very well signposted. Very good views. Excellent trail run

Now THIS was the Scotland I was hoping to see on my hikes. Absolutely stunning and a great treat for someone who loved the Highlander movies and TV series as a kid. Some of the best camping I've ever had, and a trail I would easily come back to again. I walked it and the Great Glen Way and have more words (and pictures) at http://vagabondvivant.com/gallivants/walk-scotland/
