This was my first truly long hike at 9.5miles. Although we were expecting to hike the entire way in the rain due to the storm overnight. The hike ended up being beautiful! We came across some fludid bits, but they were easy to cross. The hike was relatively easy the entire way until you get to the sand dunes towards the beach, the hike back up those expect to take your time. All over would love to due this hike again!!

Vi gik denne tur sidste år i juli, det er en fantastisk smuk tur og en imellem hård. det er turen for alle der kan lide smuk natur, lidt sved på panden. og når man nu er i fort William, skal man da ud og køre med "Harry Potter tog"

One of my favorite hikes that I did while in Scotland

I love this walk, have done it around 4 times now with my other half and dog. Its relatively easy until you hit the 'main' road up to Drymen, then it gets steep but its not for so long. Stunning scenery all along it.

I was in heaven as a teenager on my ‘pilgrimage’ to the Home of Golf. I vividly remember exploring this area...around the R & A Clubhouse, the practice putting green and starters box, holes 1 and 18, the Swilcan Burn, and out to the famous ‘Chariots of Fire’ Beach. I really hope to get back...maybe for the British Open in 2022!

This used to be one of my favourite mountain bike trails but the logging companies have totally ruined large parts of it now. It was once surrounded by stunning scenery and pine trees, but they have decimated it to the point where its unrecognisable in parts. Very sad that another great woodland area has succumbed to over logging activities.

The path did not go all the way round unless you would climb over the fence. The fence and locked gates were all around the reservoir. The detour I took along the river was very nice! All in all quite a nice short walk!

Very nice easy walk, however no where near moderate.
