well-marked trail with lovely views and prominent rock forms like the famous sea arch & the Deil’s Heid.

Walking

Nice easy trail suitable for all ages. Lovely views of the woodland and pond. Some viewing areas for local wildlife and information boards dotted around park. Moderate traffic on a Sunday.....popular with dog walkers, families and buggies Dogs should be kept on lead near Loch due ducks and swans but also to risks with the algae bloom. Fallow’s woods (blue trail) over grown, would say it looked tired pre - Covid. Generally a lovely walk. Would advise Take £3 for car park.

Such an amazing hike! I wouldn’t go on a nice day though. You’re almost hiking through a stream (and actually are at points) for a bit of it. In poor weather it could be really slippery. But such a beautiful hike.

Really enjoyed this trail. From the car park to the waterfall footing is very easy and suitable for all ages and levels of fitness. Once you climb past the waterfall that is when the path becomes overgrown and very rocky. Steep climb up to the bridge. Quite peaty and bog like as you approach the top. Walk down is much better as you are back on a gravel path but it is quite rocky in parts. Definitely recommend this trail and I will be back.

The route itself was moderate, not difficult. Maybe the difficulty was awarded for the length? There were folk in trainers doing it, so hardly the most difficult route. I mixed it up, and walked from Clova to Doll and then did the route from the ranger centre. Spectacular views from Driesh, and the weather was amazing.

Great hike. Felt like I accomplished something after completing this trail. Very rocky on way down, decent boots needed. At times you are walking across sharp and awkward placed rocks. Seen over 40 deer roaming around in massive herd. Was great.

Easy quick free flat walk. Quite busy on a Sunday. Alot of dog mess on or near paths which spoiled it for me.

Very enjoyable walk! We walked up in January on quite a sunny day, going left at the start. My friend lost his phone when he fell on slipped on the way down one of the hills, but managed to find it again and all that time it took, by the time we got to the next Munro, the sun was setting and it was beautiful. I stated to get a bit worried because the sun was going down and the way down looked very steep(It is) but my friends were content with sliding on some ice. But thank goodness we left when we did as the small path down was covered in Black ice, if we left any later one of us would surely have injured ourselves. That being said probably a better idea to not turn off to the left at the start and do the walk the other way round.

Absolutely awesome trek, make sure you have a pair of chains or crampons and poles, it gets very icy and snowy about half way up.
