The whole route you are walking in the pine forest. The landscape is unusual, constant elevation, ravines, and hills. Along the route, you cross several times the ridge of Väryämänselkä with gaining and dropping altitude. Part of the route passes along the steep slope of the Volchya River. The route crosses the river twice and runs next to the abandoned small hydroelectric power station. The dam is still in good condition and looks impressive. On the route, there are several springs and equipped parking lots where you can have a snack. Camping is prohibited on the territory of the reserveShow more

One more good trail in the nature reserve Ridge of Vyaramyanselkya. The route runs around a series of lakes through a pine forest. There are many ravines on the way, but the climb is small. Well suited for walking with children.Show more

A large sand beach on the bank of the Ladoga lake. The name of the bay is translated as Windy. And that is correct - the place is really windy. Take some warm cloths and kite with you.Show more
