Perfect intro to Algarve/southern coastline. Only few steep climbs, good direction signs, astounding views.

fantastic views, lovely flowers. quite muddy after rains the day before. steep descend & ascend halfway to a ruïne on a cliff, doable with a baby in a carrier. actual trail seems slightly lower (ie. closer to the sea) than the version on the map but still easy to follow. some vague blue signs seem to mark the track (we only noticed on the way back)

It would have been a great trail, with stunning clifftop views if it wasn’t for the thick spiky overgrown bushes and trees on the path. We ended up with many bloody scratches, and progress on the path was literally painfully slow. In its current state, the path is barely passable

Great hike!! worth the hard work. The views are amazing, take lots of water and a torch for the tunnels. Went during September 2019.

A nice and interesting trail. not an official one, so don't expect signs of any kind. The path crosses private property. Sometime the gates are closed, but your free to proceed as long you don't forget to close them (because of the animals). Extraordinary view at lakeside. Reccomend

on Portinho Arrábida

Very nice walk. A bit difficult to find the starting point - it's basically the first little path on the right after you get off the main road. Nicely connects to other paths.

Nice walk. Not to much shade and quite a lot of people. Beach is quite impressive - worth climbing down/up

Starts With some difficult but then it’s easy. Nice views. Not recommended for young children

this is a nice walk. if you're going to leave the main route to walk along the cliffs via Praia de Ursa you should be a very confident hiker, have good shoes and poles. there are some very, very steep rocky sections and some climbing is necessary.

Top!

Nice trail, was easy to bring two dogs with, except for the most northern, where it is easier to follow the track instead of the small trail. I kid you not, I took nearly 30 ticks of the dogs, and that trail is really covered with tall grass now. But that's the only thing to concern, other than that it's cool to bring dogs. Right on top of descida das vacas there is a platform where you can sit and just admire the beauty of Arrábida. Thank you to the poster of the track!!

dificuldade moderada. belas paisagens.

Para toda a família

The trail offered amazing views to the bay of Setúbal and Troia, and we passed through some portions where the trees covered the track, offering a cool breeze and a secluded feeling. At first, I regretted not bringing my dog but midway I was actually happy that I didn't because this trail is NOT EASY. There was this part right before reaching the observation tower (we did it clockwise, that is the opposite direction that was suggested) that was really steep and I often had to use my hands on the floor for balance, plus some really narrow parts where I had to push the vegetation aside. This doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it, I sure did! Just don't want anyone thinking that this is an easy one, I wouldn't recommend bringing dogs or kids with you. Finally, there is no proper parking near the suggested starting point to begin the trail, only on the side of the road. I'd suggest parking near the Capela de São Luis, that is a good starting/ending point and has space for parking. It was my first trail using AllTrails and I was joined by my girlfriend in this adventure. We're really happy with the experience. Thank you to the poster of the track!!
